Size guide

Two weights, cut differently. Worth a minute here — wrong size is the one thing that turns a good tee into a return.

How to measure

Measure a t-shirt you already own and like, laid flat, and compare it to the numbers below. That beats guessing from your usual size, because every brand cuts differently and these two are cut differently from each other.

  • Length: from the highest point of the shoulder straight down to the hem
  • Width: armpit seam to armpit seam, laid flat. That's half the chest.
  • Sleeve: from the top of the shoulder seam to the sleeve hem

All measurements are of the garment laid flat, not of your body. Our print partner states they can vary by up to 5 cm, which is the normal tolerance on any cut-and-sewn garment.

Working Set — 180 g/m², regular fit

Regular fit, set-in sleeves, side-seamed. Sits like a normal t-shirt.

  • S: 68.9 cm long, 49.5 cm wide, 22.5 cm sleeve
  • M: 73.0 cm long, 53.3 cm wide, 24.1 cm sleeve
  • L: 74.9 cm long, 56.5 cm wide, 24.4 cm sleeve
  • XL: 76.8 cm long, 59.4 cm wide, 25.1 cm sleeve
  • 2XL: 79.1 cm long, 63.5 cm wide, 25.4 cm sleeve
  • 3XL: 81.0 cm long, 67.6 cm wide, 26.0 cm sleeve

Cut for a body chest of roughly 79 to 86 cm at S, 89 to 96 at M, 99 to 104 at L, 107 to 114 at XL, 117 to 122 at 2XL, and 124 to 130 at 3XL.

Pump Cover — 240 g/m², oversized, dropped shoulder

Boxy oversized cut with dropped shoulders and twin-stitched wide neck ribbing. Garment-dyed, so it's heavier and softer, and it hangs away from the body.

  • S: 70.5 cm long, 51.1 cm wide, 22.9 cm sleeve
  • M: 74.0 cm long, 54.9 cm wide, 24.1 cm sleeve
  • L: 77.5 cm long, 59.1 cm wide, 24.1 cm sleeve
  • XL: 81.0 cm long, 62.9 cm wide, 26.0 cm sleeve
  • 2XL: 84.5 cm long, 67.0 cm wide, 27.0 cm sleeve
  • 3XL: 86.4 cm long, 71.1 cm wide, 27.9 cm sleeve

Cut for a body chest of roughly 99 cm at S, 109 at M, 119 at L, 130 at XL, 140 at 2XL, and 150 at 3XL. Those numbers look large because the garment is meant to hang loose.

The bit that stops returns

The Pump Cover runs about a full size larger than the Working Set. A Pump Cover in L is almost exactly as wide as a Working Set in XL — 59.1 cm against 59.4 cm — and that holds all the way up the range.

So:

  • Take your normal size in the Working Set
  • Take your normal size in the Pump Cover too, if you want it oversized. That's the point of it.
  • Size down in the Pump Cover if you'd rather it fitted closer to normal
  • Between sizes? Size up in the Working Set. Stay at your normal size in the Pump Cover — it's already cut generous.

If you switch weight after picking a size, the fit changes as well as the fabric. The numbers above are the ones that matter.
